Her Sound, Her Story is an optimistic portrayal of the power of creativity over adversity.
Her Sound, Her Story was inspired by the rising conversation about gender inequality within the music industry, and made by Melbourne artists and storytellers Claudia Sangiorgi Dalimore and Michelle Hunder.
The film documents women of diverse ages, genres, sexual orientations, ethnicity and careers across the music industry. Through interviews, animations, music and text, the documentary aims to examine inequality in the music industry, highlight positive messaging and spark social change.
